Dear Mr. Raymond Lauchengco,
Hello and how are you? I am residing here in California and hoping that you live here. I am having my wedding and my dream is for you to sing “So It’s You” when i march the aisle but i think or definitely is not possible because it would happen in November 3rd. A day after your baby comes..( and Congratulations by the way to you and Ms. Mia).
More power to you and I just wish that there is another Raymond Lauchengco that can sing as wonderful as you… If i can only move my wedding day…just for you to sing on that day… But its ok I am glad that you are there and easy to reach via email maybe when i have my Philippine’s wedding ( but its not as special with the 1st one) then you can sing for me. ( My future father in law is a mayor in Camiguin and he wants to throw a simple wedding in the chapel at home…)
Anyways, Congratulations again to your wife and your bundle of joy and Don’t forget to throw her a wonderful baby shower, ok…
Sincerely,
Anne

Dear Anne,
It was nice reading your note. Let me wish you all the best for your marriage
Marriage is a wonderful gift.
I live verrry far from California (haha) but I do wish to visit there with my wife sometime soon. (You know, we’re actually expecting the baby to come earlier, maybe the third week of October, so less waiting time for us!)
Again, all the best to you and maybe we’ll see each other in Camiguin (which I hear is a gorgeous place).

Raymond, “Si tu n’existais pas déjà, je t’inventerais. Tu es comme le vent qui fait chanter les violons et emporte au loin le parfum des roses.” We’re best friends who haven’t met yet. It’d be nice to hang out with you someday – for coffee or even an aperitif. I miss the strange happy feeling that listening to your music got me, 20+ years ago. So if it’s (really) you – we have a lot of catching up to do. Let me know when you’re in San Francisco next. I’d like to invite you out for a meal. And by the way – looks wise, we could be brothers too. I’m coming to visit the Phil. Islands end of october, beginning november. Any performances scheduled?

Greetings from NYC!
Just wondering how you guys are doing back home. Do you get to see the rest of our classmates from grade school? Have you visited Letran recently?
I had seen Rene Dalandan and Jaime Amican a couple of years back but not recently. I hope you get this message.
It will be interesting to meet up once again in the future.
October 13, 2007 at 8:59 am |
Hi Raymond! How have you been? Doing okay here. How is Dalandan? Last time I saw him was probably five years ago. Don’t get to see many of our grade school classmates, unfortunately, but I do know our batch is preparing for the homecoming later this year.
Do let me know if you’re in town!

Hi Raymond,
I was just watching ASAP and saw you singing I Need You Back & Saan Darating ang Umaga (which I don’t believe I heard before but really caught my attention). Both songs gave me goose bumps but the second one in particular, I cannot get enough of. I looked online but so far I only found it on YouTube. I really would like to get a copy. I hope I can find one. Anyway, when are you coming in California? Any plans? I am really interested in having you perform here.
More success to you and your family! By the way, you have such a lovely family.
Take care!

Hi Raymond,
me and wifey would be celebrating our 2nd year anniversary as a couple this coming september i was just wondering if it is possible to get you to sing “so its you” as of the moment everything is still in the drawing board but this is what popped in my mind as i was browsing your website…
the reason why we loved this song because it was the song used during my wife’s march in the wedding aisle…
another thing during our wedding we had hired a wedding singer but both of us preferred to scratch the wedding singer for the song “so its you” iba kasi talaga pag Raymond Lauchengco ang kumanta hindi nila makuha…
anyway best regards and more power…
hoping you could find time for my little request

Hello Raymond. Witnessed your show Men Of the 80s’ Concert sa Santa Clara. Idolized everyone thru the years. Best performace beyond expectations. Even taped it at HDV format from afar. Video and audio just amazing especially live. Super performace sa lahat. I was representing Filmamnation.com based sa Southern California. Please checkout our site. I’m there only correspondent sa North. I hope you remember that I was the only one with individual CDs of you guys when the autograph signing portion was done sa lobby of the theatre. Is there a way to show you what I shot or for you to sample it ? I wanted to publish it sa website ko for family but instead emailed low resolution reproductions of what I’ve taped. Manny Legaspi of FilmAmnation might publish it soon sa Filmamnation website. Abangan mo rin. For the film I tape, nothing for it for you. Souveniers maybe. Just for your family use and nothing commercial about it. Regards and God Bless!!!
