Thank you for the memories, Bakersfield!

By raymondlauchengco

I’m having a wonderful time in Bakersfield with my dad and our hosts Atty. Maurice and Dr. Malou Javier–and most especially with those who spent their Saturday night with us at the Doubletree Hotel.  It was wonderful seeing all of you, and thank you for the warm and wonderful reception.

I hope to be back again.

Hi, 1985 when i was at F.E.U. taking Fine Arts. You were one of my model for one of my work as part of our advertising promo. I chose your self titled concert , ” Raymond Lauchengco at first glance” I liked you then and up to now i can’t believed i still do! You were one of those performer that will leave a mark and will stand out by the way you sing, carry yourself professionally because you are one truly genuine artist and a classy performer that our beloved country Philippines ever produced! There was already Raymond Lauchengco music going on before Josh Groban showed up in the limelight. I am very glad to hear you are back now! Congratulations to you and your wife Mia for having a baby girl ( Natalie?). Enjoy every minute of her now ‘coz She won’t be the same when she reach 12th. We lived in Toronto, Canada. Is there any Concert dates from here? I hadn’t seen you in person back then , i hope i will be given a chance this time. From the day i heard your song ” I Need You Back” surely did leave something in my mind that i knew you were going places not just for a day but for another 25th more years to come! Congratulations again to you and your Family!

Hi… I’m one of your avid fans during the Bagets days (which is to say I’m dating myself). I am pleased that your success didn’t get to your head and that you are still around to help us drown our homesickness.

I’m trying to look for Dr. Malou Andres-Javier. I’m good friends with her brothers Jenny, Boy and Sonny (may God rest his soul), and would like to ask her about them.

Thank you so much, all the best and more power to you. Btw..Merry Christams din to you and all those close to your heart.

    Most Sincerely,

    Joel Jose
